I took my family of four to this hotel for a wedding this past weekend. Nice hotel from the exterior, the staff was excellent and the rooms were good size. The downside of this hotel is there is only one of two elevators working and significant delays when you need to go up and down. We had to use the service elevator and ride with the cleaning staff each day. To get to the top floor for the gym took 15 minutes and by the end of the weekend I jogged the stairs as part of my daily workout instead of waiting. I'd of never thought something like an elevator could impact your experience, but it did, significantly. I'd encourage you to check on the progress of the repair prior to booking or stay on the second floor and expect to walk the steps. The pool is not heated and my kids said it was dirty with floaters. Also be prepared to spend $25/day for parking. I was disappointed due to high expectations, but the property is gorgeous and the staff is great.

Brilliant hotel, had a wonderful stay here. The room was very cute, with a little entrance hall and a coffee maker. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was very nice, though a little pricey, there's a coffee place downstairs and like every other coffee place in America it's owned by Starbucks... The location was excellent, it's right near a metro station (North Avenue MARTA station), so you can take the train from the airport. I was here for the Midtown Music festival which was a 20 minute walk away, so perfect for me. There are lots of restaurants around and it's a 20-minute walk to downtown (the aquarium etc). You can also take the train there. The only criticism is that one of the elevators was being upgraded (which is a good thing), so it could take up to 10 minutes to catch the elevator up when it was busy... Great place though, I'd definitely stay here again!

Last minute booking to attend a conference, and I was pleasantly surprised. The recently renovated hotel is decorated impeccably and the on-site restaurants are very hip. Simple check-in, friendly staff, very walkable neighborhood with has historical sites. The rooftop pool was an unexpected surprise and provided incredible views of the city. Would definitely stay here again, should my travels bring me back to Atlanta.

We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite for a family trip to a Georgia Tech football game. It was a perfect choice. An easy walk to the stadium for the younger ones and the in-and-out parking allowed one of us to drive Grandma up to the stadium gate, return the car to the hotel and then come back on foot. Also, those who wanted to turn in early could do so, while the kids stayed up in the living room with their own TV. Suite was almost ridiculously large and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Only gripe is that one of the elevators is still out-of-order (as it was when we visited a month ago).
