“Great price, comfortable rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

This hotel is located within a few minutes walk of the Peachtree Center Metro stop enabling easy access around town. The hotel interior, including the rooms look as though they were recently refurbished. My room was clean and comfortable although, one wall looks as if it could use some work. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prepaid price, unbeatable!

This was a great location for my conference at GWCC and the room, though small, seemed to have all I needed. Upon further inspection, the desk lamp did not work, the all-in-one desk, armoire and TV console was splintered and a gaping hole under the desk was more than a little disconcerting. I enjoyed a room service meal the first night, called for the tray to be picked up and it was still there the next morning. Bad enough, but it was still there the next evening when I returned and had been joined by someone else's tray. Where food is left exposed for so many hours, can bugs be far behind? When I told the front desk, they took care of it immediately. The front desk, bell and valet staff were very helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the side street (not Andrew Young Int'l Blvd) are quieter.

I found the stay to be very statisfying. I received a doulble-bed room with a street view. It was spacious enough, clean and had all the amenities required. There was a desk, modern television set, free wifi. I think there was a mini fridge which as handy to store small snacks. The staff cleaned the room daily to a high standard, the staff were very helpful with maps and shopped me great attraction to enjoy.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, just a few minutes walk to a local strip of bars, shopping centre and dining options. Furtermore, it was also a brief walk to other town attractions and public transport. Overall, it's not a fancy establishment but for its pricing and location it was a great stay, the staff were friendly and is well recommended.

Room Tip: I stayed by the street, I didn't find it too noisy, it was a pleasant stay, i think on the 3rd o...

This property was chosen for a group visit for a Band Competition held in the Georgia Dome. Proximity to the dome, Olympic Centennial Park, CNN, & Coca Cola Museum was the saving grace for this place. Because we're Priority Club Members we were given 'special' treatment. I asked what that meant & was told, you will recieve shampoo, lotion, and hair cream. Wow amazing.!. What we didn't get was a blow dryer. I never pack them as all hotels have them. We waited 2 hrs for one to be sent up. So here we go. On a 1 to 10 rating. Check in a 3. Room a 2. Bathroom a 5. Service a 3 for the hotel and a 8 for the restaurant. Elevator/halls a 2. Restaurant food/cost a 4. Housekeeping a 7. Cost a 6 ($210 for 2 nights). Location 9 - this is the hotels saving grace.

Wouldn't pick this property again. Would stay at one of the many other hotels in the area even if they cost a little more. This is a full service HI, yet seemed very very basic. Lastly, I requested a refridge prior to going and was told no problem however, at check told they were out of them?? They did offer to us use of their kitcher fridge. I'll try another hotel next time.

Room Tip: Bring your own shampoo & blowdryer. Street noise can be loud. Ask for a higher floor.

Dear MaryCincinnati
Thank you for your review; through such reviews we are able to strive to increase our level of service. We certainly appreciate that you are a member of our Priority Club frequent travel club. All rooms at our hotel feature the amenity package that you mention. I do apologize for the room not having a hairdryer as that also is a standard amenity and it should have been in the room, there is no excuse for the delay in getting one to you upon your request. We do have a limited number of refrigerators that are available for guest use on a request basis, I do apologize that we were out of them when you arrived.

We stayed at this property for a marching band competition at the Georgia Dome. Check-in was very easy and very friendly. The front desk staff at the hotel is exceptional. The wait-staff at the restaurant in the hotel is also very efficient and accommodating. The food is decent, better than average hotel-fare. Breakfast is not free, but there is a buffet option with made-to-order omelets available. A bit on the pricey side, but not atypical for a downtown hotel in a major city. Housekeeping as far as room cleanliness was just decent, there were a few noticeable issues, but none that would keep me from staying again. Location is excellent for access to Centennial Park, the CNN Center, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coke, the Georgia Dome and the Fox Theater. All are within easy walking distance.
On Saturday afternoon, while attending an event at the Dome, my father realized they he had left an item in his hotel room. He called the front desk, they sent word to Housekeeping, the item was delivered to the front desk within minutes, and a friend was able to bring the item to my father when she walked over to the Dome. For this, I give the staff at the hotel honorable mention for being very accommodating in an extremely helpful manner. Thank you!!! You saved my older father a long walk back that would have been very taxing on them. Also, upon check in, my parents noted a very musty order coming from their air conditioning unit. With one simple phone call, the front desk staff brought up keys to a new room for my parents and assisted them with the move to it. There may not be a kinder, more helpful hotel staff in all of downtown Atlanta. I thank you for assisting in what became a very wonderful weekend.

We had an excellent one night stay at this location in Atlanta. My family and I spent two days in Atlanta to view the various attractions; this hotel was right in the middle of some of the more family oriented attractions, all within a short walking distance. The staff was courteous and very knowledgeable about the locale area and shared with us some good advice for things to see.

Everything about this hotel is magnificently excellent, their friendliness, service level, care or location? You cannot get a better priced deal ! Having stayed 14 consecutive nights, I really enjoyed my stay. All my needs were met promptly. The hotel has all the little things that make a stay worthwhile. I will always be back!
