“Casual elegance with a nice menu”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

The atmospere is very nice and service was prompt. I had the scallops and they were fantastic however the creme brûlée was disappointing (2/3 liquid and 1/3 custard). I would give it another try for sure.

“Doesn't deserve the title of bistro.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

Came here for a nice romantic dinner before a ballet...and was thoroughly disappointmented! Started off with a bad sign when there was literally only one other table with people....so they sit us right next to them. A whole restaurant and we're right next to the others. Service was awkward. Now to food....LAME!!!! The lamb dish should be called lamb with a pile of crap and terrible sauce. Sauce tasted like straight oyster sauce and the been pile.below was squished beans that were so bland. Seared salmon was edible. Good but nothing fancy. Sad restaurant for such a prime location.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

I have eaten here a couple of times and they are not consistent. The French Onion Soup here may possibly be the best anywhere .... But even great soup needs to me more than barely warm. All 4 bowls were like this. Then the cheese : my husband asked if the soups could stay under the brolier for a little more toasting of the cheese. Should not be a big deal, right? No, the waiter took exception to the request and said it was not necessary to request that..."that is how we do it" .... And so he did not ask. The soup did have brown toasting on the bowl edge and a light spot of toasting toward an edge. But this is not the waiters choice , thank you very much . Next we have the lunch steak and frys for $16.00. You will get a bowlful of fries and an extremely small steak ; our 4 yo ate it all. I had thought there would be enough to share as that is usually what we do. This steak would not have made half a sandwich . And that is all you get for $16.00; a bowl of fries and a tiny steak. No beverage, no bread, no salad. The barely warm soup and the aragant waiter is extra. Too bad . It is a beautiful Resturant in Atlanta with tasty food.

“Great atmosphere, food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

By far the food was the best part, but our server was also a trooper, putting up with all four of us ordering different wine, hemming and hawing about appitizers and then lingering at the table as the restaurant filled up! I had scallops, my colleagues had steak, shrimp and grits and salad; and all of us loved the food. Good wine list as well. Inside the restaurant is very classy, painted brick with a very pretty bar area and seating on the first floor. A sweeping staircase illuminated by a modern chandelier leads to a second story atrium, with seating. The bistro is decorated with modern art from the owners personal collection. Designed to look turn of the century, but actually nestled neatly on the lower level of a mixed use development just off Centennial Park! Go, you will enjoy it:)
