Nothing about this tour was interesting. The tour guide spoke so fast that we didn't even understand what she was saying most of the time. Walk through a building watch a few people sit at their computers, look at empty studios, buy a picture of yourself behind a fake news desk. The few interesting parts were along the walk between office observation rooms, but they didn't say what anything was and we were being pushed too fast to the next spot by security to read the little signs. Skip this tour and save your $15/person.

I hesitated before visiting but I was completely satisfiyed at the end of the visit. This is an opportunity to see what is inside the broadcasting of news. I recommend this tour.

Building inside a building! The worlds longest standstill escalator wow! I like the stores and food court availability on the ground floor. It was just weekend and there was a lot of people so you can't find spot and table to sit and eat.

Sure, it's only $15, but this tour is worth more like $7-10 per person. Unless you've never seen anything involving cameras or a studio in your life, there's not much to get very jazzed about.

The tour starts off promising, showing a mock control room with live feeds. The guide will explain how everything is stitched together to make the show, which is reasonably interesting.

Then, a faux studio where a lucky tour members gets to read lines from a teleprompter. Neat.

Afterwards, they actually let you see into CNN's daytime news broadcast studio while it is taping live. The anchor even gives the tour groups a wave during commercials. Yippee!

But it's all downhill from there, with a series of heartless stops looking down on various newsrooms, first CNN, then HLN, then a quick passover of CNN Espanol, then HLN's actual studious.

Really, there's not much to it, least of all a cogent narrative actually explaining how a piece of news in some random place in America eventually finds its way to the anchor's desk. That would be educational and entertaining. This is mostly just show with little substance.

If you have had even the faintest exposure to A/V production, there's not much to take in on this tour. It's especially sad to see so many guests verbally wondering when they will see Anderson Cooper or Wolf Blitzer - both of whom are based in Washington.

Oh, and the "55-minute" tour must be designed to include the pre-security checkpoints and everything else. Even with that, the entire experience was over in under 50 minutes.

Just find a few Wikipedia articles and you'll be fine.

Our guide was horrible. Wasted time and money. Could have gone to other attraction.

Also, it is a short tour. Whole tour was done in 45 minutes.
