Went with friends for a great night at Parish. Service was a little slow at first but very friendly and picked up. The food has an interesting and eclectic selection. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. We were also impressed with the old distressed look of what was an old factory office. This is a great place with style, great food and conversation.

I went to Parish one Sunday night for dinner with friends and found it easy to find, with easy parking, unique/vintage Louisiana atmosphere and a delicious sound menu that made it very hard to decide what to order! I had the squash salad, cheese plate and gnocchi, followed by roasted strawberry creme brulee with cracked pepper short bread for dessert. YUM. I would have gotten the legendary friend chicken but they'd had a busy weekend and were all out. The wine list was very adequate, and the cocktails looked very good. I will definitely be back for brunch sometime soon which I hear is also delicious. I'd also like to check out the "& goods" part - the little store downstairs which on just a quick glace appears to have tasty take away food items that would be fun to browse and would likely make good little gifts.

All in all - delicious, not super pricey, good atmosphere. I'll be back!

We had a very good dinner here on June 23, 2012 and with the $25 off coupon they have for the summer (good 7 days), it was also a pretty decent deal. We had the chicken liver pate, two fish entress (one great, one so-so... the trout), and our bread pudding and strawberry creme brulee desserts were both very good. Excellent service, kind of a boarding house dining room feel (and not quiet), and very efficient valet parking. Overall a most pleasant dining experience. We were searching for a place to stop and eat at in Atlanta while passing through this past weekend. We stopped at Parish. I've not been to that particular neighborhood in probably five to ten years, and it is a vibrant spot to enjoy local shops, restaurants, bars, and green space. The restaurant is surrounded by other locations which would be conducive to trying several of the places. The space itself was decorated well. They have a small patio which was enjoyed on our Saturday afternoon visit. The service was average. The food was really good. We only had the brunch and lunch options, but they had plenty to choose from. The grilled romaine salad was very tasty, and the fried green tomato blt was good. I would like to go back for the dinner menu.

For somewhere that provides high chairs, they are not child-friendly at dinner. The food was average at best - the hangar steak was really disappointing. The best thing about the meal experience was the Pimms cocktail. Slow and inconsistent service, dull and boring food.
