Great museum! My 3 year old loved this place. It even has a little playground for the kids. It was clean and neat. The cafeteria sucked but I wasn’t there for the food.

We literally spent 15 minutes in the museum and was done. Nothing was amazing besides the two dinosaurs. Too much space for little things to see. Probably the worst place i went in Atlanta.

This is a wonderful place to spend any day, there’s so much to learn and do. I’m not sure who enjoys it more the adults or the children. There’s a lot of hands on learning activities for the children and make sure to see one of the movies it’s definitely worth the money we actually bought a yearly membership

This is a wonderful place for children of all ages . Our grandchildren were thrilled. There are also 3D movies and interactive stations for learning.

I was passing through Atlanta on a trip with some friends and we went here because it was on the City Pass. I was a little disappointed in Museum but I think it was mostly because I came from a City where they'd completely rebuilt their Natural History Musuem from the ground up with the latest and greatest in interactive displays and layouts. So when I went here I was just shocked by how small the building was and how much open space there was that wasn't being utilized and how things were just stuck to the walls with giant walkways. To their credit, the Fernbank Musuem did look like they had been trying to improve some areas and we found one more modern area with interactive displays. They also had a movie theater which I though was a good touch. My friends and I were going to see a movie but the timing didn't work out.

The outside grounds looked to be interesting but as we went in October it was cold outside and none of us wanted to explore it for a long period.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We have been working to create more visual entrances to our exhibits, as we realize a lot of people might not realize there are so many areas tucked around our atrium. We realize that after people can see all there is to do here, they have a lot of great experiences. We'll continue to work toward highlighting our programming, exhibits and experiences more and and appreciate you recognizing that we are making updates. I wish the weather had been better so you could explore WildWoods and Fernbank Forest, and hope you can next time you're in town.
