The MLK National Historic Site is a great place to visit to learn about civil rights. It brought back many memories of the movement from my teenage years and I was brought to the edge of tears when I visited the site. I was disappointed that the site has not been maintained as well as I think it should. It looked a little run down and just not spiffy. However do not let that keep you from going. It is a nice oasis and a great learning experience right in downtown Atlanta.

The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site is an important place for everyone to visit. The combination of short documentary films, photographs, and artifacts tell Dr. King's story beautifully.
