This the main attraction for ATL. MLKJ's house, exhibit and his church are an absolute must for anyone who wants to know the history of America. The amount of pieces from MLKJ's life available here are phenomenal. It's the highlight of the city.

This site brings you back in time with recorded voices, pictures and memorabelia of Martin Luther King, Jr. and what he stood for. Much of what is here is very touching.

I visited with my two kids and we really had a great time. The site is clearly a work in progress, as the Park service is adding buildings. We walked through the childhood home of Reverend King and enjoyed the time lines that described the civil rights work he and his amazing wife Coretta were engaged in.

As always, the Park Rangers were so knowledgeable and helpful. My favorite part was walking around the reflecting pool, near the eternal flame and listening to Reverend Kings speeches. I will look forward to returning as it grows in the coming years.

I love when visitors come into town, I can never get enough of visiting MLK center....get there early if you want to get on the list to visit the birth home other than that you can walk around and see everything...and its free!
