A must visit when you travel to Atlanta. Easy to locate, parking is all around the site. Lots of information, pictures and actual items that belonged to Dr. King. I suggest everyone visits at least once, but you'll want to go back repeatedly. You can walk to his Birth home and the old Ebenezar Baptist Church where he preached.

The site is in a shady part of town and it's more hype than historic. Parking is difficult unless you find a parking garage or lot and walk to the site. If you just want to say you've "Been ther- Done that", or mark it off your bucket list then it's worth the trip.

The Sweet Auburn Market is just up the street and is a great place to grab a good lunch at a reasonable price. Several food stands are in the facility as well as produce and meat stands. This made the trip to the MLK site worthwhile.

Seeing the Muesum was specktacular , and the quantity of clothes he traveled with ,he always traveled very lightly. There was also one dress of his wife , where islaid to rest is also something to see, as amatter of they are both resting the same place. I,ll advise any one that go too George ia should really ,really make it their buisness to visit.

Important historical site with excellent information on Dr. King and the civil rights movement. Make sure to get a ticket from the old firehouse to tour the home in which Dr. King grew up. The National Park Service has done an excellent job in developing the site.
