My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to have chosen a not-so-hot Atlanta summer day to visit the park. Because it was Friday afternoon the park wasn't too crowded and we got to enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace. I would definitely recommend wearing good walking shoes. The park is near a lot of attractions like the Georgia Acquarium, the coke factory, and the CNN center. But I would suggest visiting the park after visiting the other attractions because the stroll will give you a chance to unwind.

Olympic Park is a beautiful park. The fountains, the Olympic information, and the torch are all highlights. The little show at the water fountain was great fun!

Nice park to take a stroll and experience a little bit of Olympic history. The fountain of rings were fun to watch or run through if you did not mind getting wet. Great place to have a picnic and the kids to throw around a football.

We used this as a crosswalk between CNN and Coca Cola World. As we entered I should've known it was not going to be good as soon as I saw the poor homeless people sitting on the park benches.
The grass was not maintained and there were not too many trees. I think a lot of locals use the fountain for their kids to cool off for free.
Don't waste your time. Take a cab.

The park is a great place to relax and also explore. I had the chance to see the park i the evening and during the day and it always has both tourists and locals alike. The park seems like the local watering hole similar to Central Park in NYC. The park itself as the historical landmarks from the Olympics but it also has a fountain for kids to run through, kid play areas, a ferris wheel, a bunch of places to sit and relax, paths for walking or riding bicycles and it has a few cafes throughout. The park seems to be in the center of Atlanta so it is nice to walk through the park to connect to other historic areas and sites like the Aquarium and Coca-Cola factory. Really nice park that was also clean!
