Turner Field is a great sports facility and a really nice place to watch a baseball game. They have concessions galore, (they even have beer ice cream). The MARTA shuttle can get you to and from the game and right next door to the stadium is a nice place to eat called the Bull Pen (see other review elsewhere).
This is a great place to make some memories

We are on a ballpark tour and stopped in to this ballpark in August 2014. We went for a game on Friday night. If you can buy $1 tickets at the gate or $15 gen admin tickets and get upgraded. Our upgrade was very good. We'd do that again.

We went back for a tour the next day and were a bit disappointed. It doesn't talk about the baseball history of the team, or too much about the team, but that they are getting a new stadium with more....

This isn't in the exact best part of town. Take the Marta to the game.

We saw a ballgame here last week, and the line was so long to buy tickets, since we couldn't get accessible seats through the kiosk, we ended up missing out on the bobblehead giveaway. The ticket line was incredibly inefficient and poorly run. The filter people out of line and into other lines randomly, so it's possible you get your tickets well after those behind you in line. Moronic procedure.

So our game started out with a bad feel. The food was a typical ballpark ripoff $6.50 for a slice of pizza, and everything advertises how much cheaper it would be if you were a season ticket holder and got a discount. Kind of adding insult to injury if you ask me, especially as an out-of-towner. We did get a decent $12 double hamburger and fries (we passed on the $3.50 8 oz bottle of coke. But you can bring in your own food and plastic-bottle beverages and I recommend you do.

We also visited the HOF while we were there, and for a team that's been around as long as the braves, I expected more. Maybe because we had just visited the Reds HOF in Cincinnati, which was much more impressive.

Our Turner field ballpark tour was a highlight, however. The guides were very knowledgeable, and this was by far the most wheelchair accessible tour we've had. Possibly because the para-Olympic games were held here. We were able to get the scooter onto the playing field (we couldn't in Cincinnati) which was nice for my wife, and got to see the pressbox, broadcast booth, etc. and luxury suites.

Nice tour.
