“An outstanding meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

This is probably some of the better prime rib that we have had - if you have the chance go on a Sunday or Monday for the summer period where they offer a Prime Rib Dinner for $29.99 - this includes a selection of salads, and a side. If you like spicy try the Flemings Potatoes - a great accompaniment to a great Prime Rib. Staff very attentive, and as we were celebrating a birthday we were given a divine box of truffles and a $25 gift card. Good wine list to top your meal off. we cant wait to return to another Flemings.

“EXCELLENT”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

First, we had an awesome server, Andrew. Knowledgeable, great timing, and great tableside personality. The meal was excellent - the Summer Price Fix of Filet Mignon with Pecan encrusted Scottish Salmon was amazing - also loved the Jalapeno Mac and Cheddar Cheese. Wife lved the small plate Lamb Chops, and the Lime Cilantro Shrimp. Highly recommend.

“Quality does NOT Justify the High Prices”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

Fleming's obviously tries very hard to be a world-class steakhouse. The service is excellent. Unfortunately, the food, while good, does not measure up to the prices charged.

At these prices, everything should be perfect. It is not. As a large group, we had plenty of food to judge. The steaks were over-flavored with simple pepper - a really cheap way to flavor a steak. Several steaks were over-cooked (charred black). The meat inside was tasty, but the overall package was just not competitive with the other "great" steakhouses in Atlanta (mainly Bones, which is still the gold-standard for premium, high-end steakhouses).

Sides were good, but not great.

Everything here is ordered and paid for "a la carte". So, a $50+ steak buys you ONLY the steak. Each side is extra.

At these prices, Fleming's just isn't worth it.

“Another great meal for a special occasion”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

Last year my son was leaving for a year of study abroad so on his last night in the country we had an excellent meal for his send off. You really do get a higher level of service when you come to a place with higher prices.

Well he's back from his year abroad and we booked a table on a Friday night as a special homecoming dinner. When I made the reservation they referenced last year's occasion and asked if this was another special occasion. When I explained that he was back they made it a point to welcome him back (not in a creepy way) and even asked him briefly how it was.

My wife had the chet's special which was a filet with shrimp. My son had a filet oscar style with crabmeat and I had the bone in prime ribeye. We ordered a ceasar salad to split and they did a nice job splitting it and bringing it out on three plates (it wasn't the money, we just didn't want a large salad.) Our sides were sauteed mushrooms and Fleming's potatoes. Both were great and one serving was again enough for the three of us.

While we were pitched the lava cake (which they warned takes twenty minutes to prepare) we opted to share the cheesecake for dessert. Again a perfect choice and splitting it three ways meant we each had just enough sweetness without going overboard.

Service was attentive but not overly chatty and they did give my son a nice box of four truffles to take home. We also boxed up the larger pieces of leftover steaks.

The other thing I liked was that all the food was still hot as we finished our last bites.

The manager stopped by to ask if all was to our satisfaction and even left his card in case we wanted to get in touch.

The bar/patio area has a good happy hour (5-7 daily) with some reduced drink prices and appetizers as well as a $6 burger - I think. We had two Sam Adams beers there before dinner for $6.

Great place when you want to celebrate something special.
