What a place! The location is awesome, and the hotel is restful and spacious, with a friendly atmosphere. Our room was clean and stylish, and nothing was too much trouble for Chris, the owner. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, along with locals (always a good sign) and other residents (a group of walkers, who were staying, also ate there on our first night). The menu showed originality and the meals were delicious.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We both were keen to see the F1, Chris (the Owner) made sure we got the right chanel & brought us a welcome drink.
That set the tone for our stay, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was spotless & comfortable.Extra blankets & pillows & even a wall safe.
We went for a wander round the village & were amazed at the friendlyness of the locals, almost everybody greeted us with a Hola! & a smile.
Needless to say the scenery around Montejaque is stunning.
We shall certainly be back!

Thank you so much to Chris & team for making my friend's birthday such a lovely occasion. We lounged by the pool on THE most comfy beds ever, were waited on hand & foot & fed a delicious, freshly cooked dinner in the evening. Breakfast was also lovely, taken on the terrace by the pool.
Rooms are large with lovely big bathrooms & despite being situated on the town's main square, they are very quiet.
Thank you & look forward to visiting again soon!

Stopped here for two nights on the self guided "Walking Wild Andalucia" walk. Great room, amazingly considerate staff, fantastic food in the restaurant. Near to other good restaurants and bars, Quiet in spite of being on the square.
Owner and cook wereapproachable, friendly and fantastic and (again) the food was gourmet heaven.
"A must stay" place.

As regular visitors to the village this was our first visit to the hotel under the new management of Chris and we were pleasantly surprised.
The location is superb, set in the square of a beautiful and traditional village only a short drive away from the fabulous Ronda. Montejaque mornings see the gentle hustle and bustle of the locals who are polite, friendly and very laid back - ultra relaxing to be around, this hotel, in idillic Montejaque gives you the opportunity to sample the real Spain, it's truly fantastic!
The hotel itself is rustic with a modern twist, very clean and well kept and Chris has great plans for the place which were underway - whilst not being intrusive to our visit. The previously sparce pool area has really taken shape now offering outside drinking and dining with shaded areas, alongside plenty of room for the sunworshippers - which we very much are!
The food was fresh and well cooked, as much as possible had been sourced locally. As a fairly picky eater i found there was always something on the menu.. and that be to start with, for the main and for the dessert - all very hard to resist!
This hotel is definitely worth a visit, we'd like to wish Chris loads of luck with it and we really hope you enjoy your time there as much as we did!
