My wife & I visited Molino del Santo in October last year with a friend. We had lunch their and it was the best Tapas we had ever eaten. We returned their this May to stay with another friend to celebrate her birthday. The room was excellent. We were made most welcome by the friendly owners and staff. All our meals were excellent. We attended a lecture on walks and bird spotting which was well presented and interesting. We walked in the area near the hotel which was beautiful and alive with birds and flowers. Our whole visit met and exceeded our expectations and we will visit again and would recommend this Hotel to everyone to visit and enjoy the real Spain.

We visited the Molino in May 2011 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found it as charming, peaceful and welcoming as we remembered from previous visits 10 and 11 years ago.

Then, we stayed with our 3 children who loved the pool, the gardens, the friendly staff and Andy's sense of fun, positively encouraging the family to enjoy their holiday to the max.

Coming back as a couple in 2011, the welcome was just as warm, many of the staff were the same and we could enjoy reminiscences about 'the old days'.

This time, we visited Seville - a first for us and an easy drive from the Molino. Also, we went back to Ronda and enjoyed some excellent tapas as well as the fine views over the gorge.

We hope not to leave it another 10 years before our next visit!

Room Tip: Every room is the best room - each unique.

Just back from a stay at the Molino. Place as wonderful as ever. Andy and the staff are all so welcoming and the hotel is so well run and comfortable. The new chef Gordon has introduced some delicious additions to the menu please try the Zoco Malagueno ,a thick gazpacho, Serrano ham ,shaved parmesan and peeled green grapes. I'm salivating just thinking of it. Here's to our next visit.

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at this delightful hotel.

The place just seems to get better and better, which is a credit to the owners and their magnificent staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We had mixed weather. On the not so warm days we found plenty to do both around the hotel and in the surrounding area. Wonderful small white villages are a short drive away, as is Ronda with its great bull ring, while major cities, such as Seville are less than 2 hours away.
On those hotter days we relaxed by the pool, sat and read in the ample shade and enjoyed the odd drink or two.

One major change since our last visit is the food. It has always been good but now it is exceptional - a selection of traditional Spanish food cooked to perfection and presented with style. Smaller meals were also good, as was the BBQ evening where you could choose from a selection of fish, meat and veggie food.

While at Molino we were able to be as native or as English as we wanted to be. For us it is the perfect break, real Spain in a safe environment, somewhere you can have tapas for lunch and later have afternoon tea.

It’s not the cheapest place I have ever stayed at, but it offers a combination of luxury, authenticity and good value for money.

Will we be back – Yes!

Only superlatives can describe Molino del Santo ... from the hotel itself with it's lovely white casitas and bougainvillea to the surrounding mountains laced with wildflowers. The food is interesting and delicious. Molino has certainly earned it's culinary reputation. As if this were not enough, everyone at Molino is helpful and friendly. When I lost my credit card at Super Sol in Ronda, they made calls to the store and assisted me in canceling my card. The walks they suggested were awe inspiring. This was my second time staying at Molino and far from my last.

We enjoyed a two-night stay at Molino del Santo as part of a walking holiday and cannot praise the place too highly. We walked during the day, so did not avail ourselves of the pool or the lunchtime offering, but other than that everything was simply top quality. After a long hike we were greeted very warmly in reception and shown to a large room with a comfortable terrace looking over the site. A wonderful find was the discovery of a kettle, tea, coffee and fresh milk (in Spain!). Dinners were of exceptional quality. My only quibble would be that on our first night (when they were very busy) we did feel the staff were rushed, and we were similarly rushed into ordering. The courses came at an equally fast pace as well. However, on our second evening, everything was more leisurely, and more enjoyable as a result. Quite a find.
