The Molino is a converted mill with the millrace gurgling past the beautiful gardens. We had a delightful suite with bedroom ,sitting room and spacious quiet balcony overlooking pool and gardens.
The location is in easy reach of Ronda and is surrounded by superb walking --the hotel provides excellent walking notes.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly going out of their way to make your stay a pleasure.

Our English friends suggested we all spend a week together at a hotel they just adored: Molino del Santo. So from their description we were anticipating something very special but it truly exceeded our expectations. It is in a very private setting, the layout of the hotel, being an old mill, is interesting and adds to the ambience, the room with its private balcony had a lovely atmosphere, the food and its presentation left you wanting for nothing, on top of this every member of the staff was so naturally nice – no false ‘have a nice day’ type jargon here. The only difficulty was to drag ourselves away from the garden and pool for a little sight-seeing: the lovely city of Ronda is nearby, Gibraltar is an easy day trip, and the amazing Pileta Caves are very close and all are worthy excursions to make. We thought we had excellent value for our week’s stay and it will only be the tyranny of distance from Australia that stops us returning soon.

Molino del Santo is renowned for its returning visitors and this should tell you more or less all you need to know. It is ideal for people who love walking and/or birdwatching. It is a quiet hotel, there are no televisions, no discos (I am glad to say), but there is a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The owners are genuinely concerned to make your stay a happy one and the staff could not be more friendly. You get the impression you are staying with a family rather than in a faceless hotel on a Costa. If you are unlucky enough to have a rainy day (off-season of course) you will find a big olive-wood fire burning in the lounge. We will be back again soon!

We have extended our 1 wk holiday @ our Time-share @ Club BenaVista,
just West of San Pedro, for the last 4 years by a 3/4 night stay at the Hotel Molino del Santo in Benaojan. The siting is breath-taking, the conversion of an old water mill into a very comfortable and nicely
appointed establishment is wonderful. We have had the same room each year for our first three visits - fantastic view!! - so this year a different room - equally good - even better view!! The Management and Staff are terrific! Polite, pleasant and most obliging - nothing, so far, has been too much for them - we doubt it ever will be. The restaurant is nice, well run and the food is good. The Bar is warmly welcoming - they do know their Whiskies. The external pleasure are the wonderful drive through the Serrania de Ronda on the A 376 which circles around Ronda itself before directing you Benaojan. The river footpath up and down stream is great. The mountain railway line - Algeciras in the West to Malaga and Eastwards - runs 300 yards away via the station - walk up or down stream - return by train. Terrific!!

We stayed at the Molino for just two nights at the start of a tour of Andalucia, but wished it could have been for longer. We enjoyed afternoon tea on the terrace and then dined in the restaurant, where we enjoyed the friendly service and traditional cooking. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river was a cold buffet and freshly prepared hot breakfast to order.

The accommodation was very good. We had a comfortable bedroom and private terrace in a two story cottage style terrace. The gardens and 'streets' were delightful as was the swimming pool and surrounding area. Molino is a well kept secret! A real find, to which we hope to return again.

A wonderful find - a truly lovely little village of rooms laid out like little villas intermingled with lovely terraced gardens. The setting was lovely, the half board fantastic and rooms were well equipped. I didn't really want to write this review as wanted to keep such a lovely place nice and quiet. Would love to go back again and stay for an extended time, what with the lovely meals, pool etc and great surroundings (Ronda 10 minutes away), a bonus.
About the only thing I could fault, was the lack of clear signage from main road (it is off the beaten track).

We had a fabulous stay this year as this was the chosen hotel for a friends wedding, the weather was not looking so hot the garden area was out for the bride to use,so the upstairs new conference room was the chosen place, they made it look so spectacular and everything was done to perfection, i was most impressed too with the food and i loved the breakfasts!! if you are looking for space in your room have a chat to them b 4 you book as some rooms are bigger than others, Overall fabulous i just wish we had more time to stay by the pool, we didnt really go out and about but i know theres lots to do in the area and a small little spanish food shop down the road where the lady was very happy to serve us and get out her photos of her daughters weddding!
The staff were great and i rate it!! we'lllll be back los elmores (from the Drury clan)
