We returned to Molino del Santo recently, and like a good a good wine it gets better with age. The warm friendly reception that greeted us was a sign of things to come. The staff are friendly and helpful as usual. The restaurant menu gives a wide choice, and I particularly liked the Iberian pork. Food is beautifully presented, on hot plates by friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning on the terrace was a memorable occasion, with the sound of the river rushing past in spate after the recent rain and flooding. Again, there is a wide choice for breakfast to suit most tastes. The in-house baked bread is a must. There are some fine walks around Benaojan, and loads of brochures at reception to guide on your way. While there, we saw the devastation caused by the recent floods along the river bed, and it must have been very scary. That being said, we can't wait to return to Molino del Santo for good accomodation, good food and some witty repartee with Andy and staff.
