“Wonderful find”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Neither a farmer's market nor a restaurant, rather a gourmet sandwich shop and miniature Whole Foods market in one place, with ah, prices to match. The staff is super-friendly (the kids asked to come back here because the cashier was so nice to them) and the sandwiches & prepared foods are close-your-eyes-and-sigh delicious. If you're even a little bit of a food snob, this is your place to eat.

“Delicious sandwiches!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

We recently ate here after hiking Mt.Tom on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was only about 10-15 minutes (not the half hour that some other reviewers complained about--perhaps we just got lucky). We have never been disappointed with any of the sandwiches at the Woodstock Farmer's Market and the cookies are delicious as well. It is worth a stop if you are in the Woodstock/Quechee area. Worst case scenario, you can shop while you wait. There are so many delicious goodies in this store!

“Moonlight in Vermont”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

I only go here for the sandwiches the produce is pretty expensive seems like its meant for a tourist crowd. I love the moonlight in Vermont sandwich, turkey, cheddar cheese and apple slices. I always make this combo at home not the same but still very good, just missing the amazing bread! A great deli overall. And good produce items if you feel like splurging.

“Hometown meal”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

The only reason we went here is that it was rated so high on this site and now i know why; I had a turkey sandwich with fixings...fresh bread, thick slices of turkey and cheese etc....delicious; The service is take out but who cares when you can sit on an outside picnic table that overlookst the river. We even met the owner's Mom, Donna. who lives in DC but comes up every summer to help; she was shocked to find out (but very pleased) how highly rated this place is. She gave me her email address record this site, but alas, i lost it; Therefore, if you visit, please let the owner know about TripAdvisor.

“Very Nice Farmers market”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

There were about 5 stands of fresh vegetables, and empanada stand with many varieties, some farm fresh eggs that were also good. It was a beautiful park setting with a musician playing tunes. Fresh blueberries at one stand. There was a Chinese food tent with healthy options. Also a very good bread tent with several home made breads and pastries.
