“Super Vermont-y breakfast”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

after checking with tripadvisor when we needed a breakfast place in Woodstock, we went to the Mountain Creamery. My husband and I both had the three egg omelette with apple, vermont cheddar and a delicious local sausage mixed into the omelette, along with home fries and choice of bread. We both thought it was delicious. My husband cleaned his plate; it was a bit too much for me to finish but i thoroughly enjoyed it. Be aware that it is cash only (maybe checks- don't know, since we had cash). It's a typical casual new england eatery, nothing fancy but the server was very friendly and attentive. Enjoy!

“Breakfast & Lunch in Woodstock ..”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

As we were walking around Woodstock we stopped for lunch at Mountain Creamery. Building is small and very old but well kept. It is right on main street near town info center. Lunch and service were both excellent. Seems as though owners own and operate an organic farm in Killington VT. I guess that explains the great food. My wife had a cup of homemade turkey vegetable soup and a turkey sandwich, I had turkey sandwich. Hand carved turkey on fresh bread with sprouts and cranberry sauce.. it was excellent. Cost was a little expensive, but most restaurants and stores in Woodstock are .. alot of income derived from tourist dollars. We felt that price was well worth it for fresh, homemade organic products. In that we were in town for a few days, we made a second visit for breakfast that was also very good. Make sure you try their homemade raspberry preserve .. we bought 2 jars to take home with us ! We would highly recommend Mountain Creamery to anyone looking for some Vermont 'comfort food' and local atmosphere.

“Great breakfast.”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Visited this eatery 2x on a recent visit to Woodstock. The breakfast was simply excellent and filling. You do not leave this place feeling hungry. One of the persons in our group raved about the oatmeal. It was apparent that local products (Vt. cheddar, bacon, ham and maple syrup) were used in the breakfast entrees. We bought their "famous" over stuffed apple pie and it was delicious. Can't go wrong with the Creamery.

“We went back several times”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

My wife and I were in Woodstock for a week. We found ourselves eating here 3 or 4 times during the week. food is very good. service is good. The whole area in general is very expensive. But Mountain Creamery was reasonably priced. And fantastic ice cream!

“Great, simple food at a great cost”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

We stayed at the Woodstock Inn and after $45 for two buffet breakfasts, we knew we needed to find a better breakfast place! We found Mountain Creamery and went there every day thereafter. The food is simple but delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. On our second day we also had lunch and ice cream, which were both delicious. It looks a lot like your average diner but don't miss this one, especially for the value! It's probably the least expensive place to eat in the area and the quality of food is not sacrificed.
