“The best natural burger”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

If you want beef from grass-fed cows in the truest sense of the phrase, you need to come here. They have a burger that can make any hungry man (or woman) more than satisfied and full.

The waitresses we had were all so kind and helpful and never did we have any complaints or feel unattended to. It's funny that when you go to an Inn, you expect to leave often to get a good meal, but that was not necessary in this case. 5 star quality

“Tops in Woodstock”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Went to Kedron after it was recommended by friends -- so glad I did. Just outside of central Woodstock, the Kedron has an excellent staff and dining Tavern with large fireplace blazing. Menu was interesting, with lots of american comfort food that sounded terrific. Had a steak and a local cheeseplate that were both really good. Local craft beer washed it down. I've eaten at many of the spots in Woodstock and this one is among the very best. Definitely recommend a visit.

“Very worth the 5 miles south out of town.”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

First, the quaintness of the building and history made for an interesting stop. Impressed that the menu changes seasonally, and the food is fresh and local. The chicken was absolutely so tender and flavorful. Sweet potato gnocchi with a sweet drizzle melted in your mouth. And the squash soup? Amazing! Compliments to the chef! Seek this out when in Woodstock, Vt.

“Wonderful Meal”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We hosted a dinner for 8 at the restaurant and were so very pleased with the menu, service, food and the graciousness of the staff. We were greeted cordially and treated to a delicious meal prepared by a very talented chef (I did not get the chef's name). The menu, though small was quite diverse and they were able to accommodate everyone's dietary issues (we had some vegetarians and one person who needed to be gluten free). They also had an excellent wine list and it was only difficult to settle on one white and one red as there were so many possible choices. I had the duck confit with housemade boudin blanc and sauerkraut (very Alsatian, I thought). 3 people ordered the salmon and one ordered the sweet potato gnocchi. All excellent choices. The apple crisp for dessert was outstanding as was the creme brulee. I sure look forward to hosting this family dinner there again next year, but hope for a return visit much sooner!

“Atmosphere and Food!”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

This is an authentic Inn dating from the Revolutionary War days. As others have mentioned, lots of atmosphere with a big fireplace and original wood ceilings. The food was quite good too -- perfect menu for the space -- casual american with a slightly updated flair. Service is excellent and friendly and lots of locals seemed to make it their spot. A very good option in Woodstock.
