My wife and I decided that we needed a weekend getaway to leave the city and disconnect from the world for a few days. The Deerbrook was our first B&B experience but certainly will not be our last. George was an amazing host that makes all his guests feel like one of the family. The accommodations were superb and the breakfast was a true taste of Vermont, amazing from start to finish. If anyone is heading up to Woodstock, they would be crazy not to stay here, the hospitality is one of a kind and it truly provides a serene retreat from everyday life. We will certainly be back, possibly making it part of our yearly tradition!

Room Tip: We loved room 1 it provided the complete Vermont country experience, and was both roomy and cozy at the same time. Why stay at a chain, you will never have an experience like this anywhere else.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying four nights. Being a descendent of the first settler of Woodstock, we were in and out during our stay. While doing genealogical searches in the daytime, our innkeepers, David and George gave us wonder recommendations for our dinners. Every morning we looked forward to breakfast as each was a culinary delight.
The atmosphere made one feel at home and if you wish to socialize with other quests, comparing notes of travel , or to be alone, the Deer Brook Inn is the place to stay.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay in the Deer Brook Inn. Our two hosts were helpful, we had a great breakfast, and the rooms were fantastic! Definitely a nice charm to the place. The B&B is on a main road, so it can be a little noisy, but this turned out to not be much of a problem in the end. Well recommended.

A party of three recently retireds touring New England in the Fall, we really enjoyed our stay at Deer Brook. The décor throughout the house is amazing: rooms are tastefully and lovingly furnished and spotlessly clean. The main lounge is a lovely place to relax, with a TV if that is your thing, although we didn’t go to the States to sit in front of a TV screen… George and David, who own Deer Brook, are fantastic hosts. We stayed just one night, but they went out of their way to fit us in, make us feel welcome and to provide us, both in terms of food and conversation, with an unforgettable breakfast experience - we regretted not having more time to hear their stories, recounted with wit and charm. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious, you can park on the premises and Woodstock, with its beautiful village centre, is a short drive away. It’s a classy and welcoming place, just like this B&B.

My husband and I stayed here for one night at the end of September. We found it to be a delightful place, with two charming hosts who cooked us a delicious breakfast the next morning. Would highly recommend.
