We were there on a cold day, walking through town and decided to stop in for some Hot Chocolate. We got it to stay. The staff was friendly. There was not a long wait. Because we stayed, they gave us a nice large mug rather then those cardboard cups that other coffee places give out. And rather then make us wait at a counter, they had someone bring our mugs to our table. If we are ever in Woodstock again, we would stop for Coffee or Hot Chocolate here.

this cafe has unusual sandwiches, excellent coffee, and gorgeous bakery. it tends to be crowded and hard to find a space though, and is a little slow on the service when it is busy. but the overall experience is very satisfying.

Great coffee which is essential. I liked that you could choose a big, full breakfast or a homemade baked good. Service was quick and friendly. Rainy morning so the manager had time to chat and suggest fun things to do in the area.

Nice little coffee shop with some lovely pastries and a bowl of soup on a cold winters day. They have free wifi so a great location to catch up on emails, sip a coffee and watch the world pass by. Watch out for those parking meters though and make sure you top up your meter when you need to. The Grind is a welcoming little shop that will overwhelm the senses with the smell of divine coffee and friendly service.

My wife and I found the Daily Grind on Thanksgiving morning. Never having been in Woodstock before, we were somewhat surpised to find it open, as most places were closed for the day. They were open for several hours, we were pleased to learn, to accommodate their regulars and folks like us. What a treat. Jasmine, the barista, was very friendly and made terrific lattes and cafe au laits (Carpe Diem coffee, from Maine). The baked goods, made in house, were excellent. We had chocolate croissants and blueberry muffins, although the scones also looked great. The next morning we went back again and had plain croissants and orange cranberry muffins, which were also wonderful. Again, the coffees were just right. The shop was very busy in the afternoon, so it looks like the best selection of available "treats" is in the morning. However, slices of pie and cookies were available later in the day. We like to visit local coffeshop/bakeries whenever we travel, and the Daily Grind is now one of our favorites. We will be back!
