The lady that owns Sugarbush is soooo sweet! We loved sampling all of the cheeses and syrup along with jams, jellies etc.!
This is a true farm and a great experience and Patches the calf was so cute! We also bought a lot of cheese!

Glad you enjoyed the farm. As a farm owner we so enjoy visiting with folks from all over the country. I'm happy you enjoyed the cheese sampling. Lots of folks want to take Patches ,the baby calf home! We hope folks learn a lot about maple syrup making along with other info on farming here in Vermont.

Had the best time trying maple syrup and cheese here. We even walked in the nearby woods in the freezing cold but loved it. The staff was very sweet and knowledgable. A definite Woodstock must!

Growing up on Kansas farms, this was a unique experience to see how a different area of the country farms. The animals, hiking trail, the movies about the farm and making syrup all led up to the grand finale: thes Taste Testing!!!! Excellent choises in syrup and cheese was a little bit of heaven. The setting in the Vermont mountains was beautiful as well.

Unfortunately by the time we went here in April the sugaring season was already over due to the warm winter but did we let that stop us from tasting and buying lots of cheese and syrup?! Again, I say “unfortunately” not!

I can’t tell you that this is the sweetest looking Vermont country store that you will ever walk into but I will say that you will find items to buy either for yourself or a gift for someone else. Would you believe that I even had a 10% discount coupon and forgot to use it! Gosh, I hate when I do that. So listen… print the coupon from their web-site, wait until you get here to buy all your goodies, go have fun with all their samples (syrups, cheeses, and jams), and then remember to use the darn coupon!

Glady ou had a good time. I don't know how far you came from, but if you are at the farm again just mention what you forgot and maybe we can help you out a bit.
