We stayed at Al Lago for four nights during the October half term and had the most fantastic time. The hotel provides a perfect base for walking in the national park and Mona is both an excellent source of good walks but helpfully supplies a range of books and guides. All the staff provide very attentive and considerate service and this goes a long way to making your stay very special. The food was absolutely terrific with some exceptional highlights- (paella with squid ink, fried baby cod and chiperones) and reasonably priced given the high quality.
Zahara is a beautiful village and the hotel is well located on the lake which all the rooms overlook. On one of the evenings Mona organised a high quality flamenco evening which finished off our stay perfectly. We will definitely return!
