We arrived on a night when the restaurant was closed. But chatting to the daughter earlier at the bar in my best Portuguese, she arranged to open at a specific time to feed our hungry group of four. The mother cooked the most divine meal, home made soup, delicious pork with real French fries and salad. Several choices of home made desserts with berries from their farm. We ordered coffees and brandies but they insisted on us trying their home made brandy, complimentary of course.
For a restaurant that was closed we had a meal fit for a king. Hope you have the opportunity to try it.
