Visited this restaurant on a weeks stay in Bugibba. Can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants we visited during our stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with one man in particular taking time to help my partner and I choose a main course. Both starter and main course were fantastic and tasty. If you are looking for seafood in Bugibba this is the place to visit.

Our meal at Paulus was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy and one of the ladies took the time to go through the very wide range of fresh fish available on display in their chiller cabinet. We shared a bread and olive platter to start- lovely. My husband had sea urchin linguine for main and I had scallop and prawn stuffed pasta parcels with a creamy sauce. Both were exceptional. Whilst it is pricier than the other restaurants in Bugibba, it was a step above the rest in terms of quality and well worth the money.

We had heard and read great things about this place, so we went on our last night in Malta.
It started out great.... Great service and great starters, but then the chef tripped... The "chicken and king prawns"was a peculiar combination of taste as the chef had put pesto on the dish ( and not mentioned on the menu) My friend had ordered his rib-eye medium and got it almost raw...
The staff apologised but the harm was unfortunately done... Especially looking at the price for the food.

My husband and I couldn't fault this restaurant at all. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. They have an a la carte menu, but also an assortment of fresh fish they get in every day - which also means the range of fish changes most days also. Make sure to ask for the prices of these fish before you order - the staff will recommend this to you anyway as the prices can vary.
The restaurant is a bit pricier than most other restaurants in Bugibba, but we didn't mind splashing out. In any case, it was far cheaper than most restaurants in Ireland. Win-Win!!

Really attentive staff all evening, if able to get an outside seat (which we couldn't unfortunately) there's a stunning view of the sea. Great fresh fish options that change daily. Had the best salmon ever here!!! Yes the fresh fish can creep your bill up and tbh it's not the cheapest but hey if your on holiday you can afford to splash out on a few evenings
