This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it cant be faulted for its cleanliness and nice staff. The rooms are clean and linen changed every day. The rooms to the front are a bit noisy but by bed time it quietens down. Breakfast is only continental, but you have the option to order a fry if you want.
The hotel is in the middle of St. Pauls Bay which is a real bonus and is close to bus station. Overall an enjoyable stay and i would definately go back....

Room Tip: Front ones are noisey but ok at night.

I've rated this hotel very good as it is very good for the price. However don't expect luxury, it is a budget hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and have excellent bathrooms. The ones at the front are noisy because of the traffic and the kareoke bar opposite. We asked to be moved and the staff were very obliging. You get a kettle and a hairdryer but you have to buy your own shower gel and coffee, which I think is fair enough, but it would be nice to know before you leave so that you can take your favourite brand. Consider bed and breakfast only because the meals and the dining room are very basic,(if the manager reads this - some proper tableclothes would really improve the ambience). Definitely don't go all inclusive because the bar and the communal rooms are a bit shabby and not many people use them so you'll be lonely if you stay in the hotel in the evening. I suggest booking directly with the hotel to give the hardworking and amiable staff a chance to maximize their profit. The sun terrace is plain but pleasant and the pool is exactly as described. For me the main fault was the rather uncomfortable bed and the best thing was the bacon at breakfast, you had to pay a little extra for it, but it was the best I've tasted outside of the UK.

this hotel was comfortable dissappointed at our room which has a balcony but looked on to a roof top and a brick wall. the food was average but not a great deal of choice for sweets for evening dinner. We had clean linen every day and the room was kept clean, the facilities were very limited but a nice rooftop pool.

Room Tip: request a room on the top floor for views

We were looking for a budget break and booked a weeks half board through easyjet at the end of October and I have to say we were quite impressed. Our room was spacious and clean with a balcony and lovely view. The bathroom had a bath (with shower over) which is always a bonus. The facilities to make hot drinks are provided but you have to bring your own tea bags, coffee etc. Most of the staff were friendly especially reception staff and the food was really good, Buffet Style Breakfast and three course Dinner. The hotel is also in a great location. Ideal for a cheap week away!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms will be quieter

We booked our holiday here through LowCostHolidays and got a really good deal on an all inclusive basis. The hotel staff were all really friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you book all inclusive the chef will cook your breakfast every morning, half-board guests get the continental breakfast, but can pay for a cooked breakfast if they want which is really cheap. The lunch menu is quite limited, but you order what you want and they prepare it freshly e.g. sandwiches, toasties, salads, chips. Although the evening meal choice was limited we enjoyed every meal every night for two weeks (and put on half a stone!). The rooms were kept exceptionally clean. This was our first time in Malta and we were surprised at the number of guests in the hotel who came back to stay there every year, although they were mainly from the older generation. There are a couple of good pubs over the road to watch the football, or listen to singers if you don't want to venture too far. Overall, we had a good holiday.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back on floor 3,4 or 5.

My husband and I just wanted a weeks break away as a stop gap. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The maid kept our room immaculate. The staff were the best, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and there was a choice with a soup or pasta starter, a fish, meat or salad-omelette option, and a pudding of ice cream, fruit and ice cream or gateaux. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were in walking distance of town, square and buses. Only downside was the new arriva bus service (a nightmare) If you are disabled or cannot stand for long don't go on the buses. We stood for the whole journey return to the ferry - Gozo and the same the next day to Valetta. 4 Hours travel plus. We will be back but we will hire a car this time.

Room Tip: The rooms on the front are noisy due to the small bars in the street so ask for a room on the back.
