I found La Stalla the first year I visited Malta in 1989 and have returned frequently ever since. A very popular family run diner with many repeat tourist clients and at the weekends many maltese eat here. There is a great atmosphere, the meals are very fairly priced, the A La Carte menu is extensive with fresh fish available, pasta,s and meat dishes including steaks and the biggest plate of ribs your ever see.Fixed price set menus are also available. The portions are generous. They cook wonderful pizza's probably the best on the island try the La Stalla with bolonaise sauce . Staff are very friendly and many have worked at the restaurant for many years
