This restaurant had great food and service. It is a bit pricey. Only drawback was the fact we were only people in there and no one else came while we were there which was a great pity.

This place is a true hidden gem. The service is exellent and friendly. And the food is even better. I loved the chickpea soup and the horse casserole. I had a taste of my wifes leek and potato soup and liked it, I usually loathe the stuff. This place is just off a side street away from the hustle and bustle of Bugibba front and the tourist traps that can be found there. The owner was very knowlegeable on wine especially the localy made varieties.

Friendly service and good food. Only thing was they were a bit slow on service. Maybe could have done with another waitress/ waiter as it just seemed to be the owner doing all of this plus the drinks!

We visited here twice as it is so good. Sadly we only discovered it towards the end of our holiday. The food is excellent, good helpings & good value. Good bruschetta to start then if you could eat a horse then I can heartily recomment the Maltese horse casserole. Delicious- a cross between good beef & venison in thick rich gravy. Pork casserole & both rabbit dishes also very good. A nice touch was a complimentary appetiser of soup served in a glass. Local wines are modestly priced & a good accompaniment to the food. Very good service from the maitre D/waiter /barman - he was busy! Good comfortable air con & understated decor & mood music.
Full marks for our favourite of the holiday

We were in Malta for 6 days and ate here twice as it was soooo lovely! After the hectic hustle and bustle of Bugibba square, Malet is just in a quiet side street and perfect when you want to get away from everyone. I didn't know what to choose to eat as everything on the menu sounded so good! We also had a lovely bottle of red wine to go with the food and it just made our evening. We walked the 30 minutes back to our hotel saying how great it was!
We went here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and I have to say that I completely agree with other reviewers when saying that this place is THE BEST!!
