since 2009 i have stayed 6 times at the euroclub, next week i am going again, first i would like to say about the meals, breakfast is continental and english, with white, brown and maltese bread, ham, cheeses, jam and marmalade, there is a massive toaster too,you can also ask for porridge, or you have bacon, sausage, beans and eggs done to your choice ie,fried, boiled or scrambled, juice, tea, coffee and milk, all self serve, evening meals are, home made soup, different every day and piping hot, special of the day, or if you dont like the special you can ask for the menu, one point i would like to make is, the kitchen is NOT hidden away, it is open for anyone to see and very often the excellent chef is working away preparing meals, not often seen in hotels,.....the price you pay for half board is excellent for the meals you get here, now the rooms, rooms are basic but clean, we are always pleased with the room we have, we are happy to stay in the older rooms even though the new rooms are lovely, the rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed daily too, if you are not happy you only have to see the most efficient manager Sayed, he will always do his best to please, if sayed is not available, Mario, the owners son is always around, Carmen and Maria are very often seen dashing from one area to another, both very hard working and excellent members of staff as is Joey, who will always help with luggage etc, this is a family run business and every member of them and staff will always be willing to make your stay pleasant there is bingo every night if you wish, the hotel is 5 minutes away from the bus station and about 15 minutes to a beach, i was there in january, i will be there next week and am now ready to book for sept / october, remember, you are not paying for the hilton, you are paying for decent food, a clean bed and a clean room, plus a very happy atmosphere, enjoy, i know i will,

Room Tip: overlooking the pools is quieter than overlooking the street,

we stayed for our 6th visit to the euroclub in january 2012, i cannot understand why guests moan first about breakfast, i can only assume the moaners must be going down to the dining room just before breakfast time ends,we go around 8am, there is cerial, continental breakfast, bread, ham, cheeses, plus eggs, bacon, sausage and beans, toast, butter, jams, tea and coffee, and orange juice, evening meal you get the best soup ever, a choice of the daily special, or choose from a menu, plus a dessert, the rooms are cleaned daily, clean towels provided, if you need anything at all you only need to ask a member of staff and they will quickly oblige , sayed is a first class manager, carmen works very hard and is always there to help she never stops running round, always doing something, maria is always at hand if you need anything, both carmen and maria are great members of staff, i cannot say anything bad about any of the staff, infact, instead of going to the euroclub twice a year we are going again the end of april and again in october, if you want the hilton, pay hilton prices, half board here is excellent value, i believe the new rooms are ready and they are supposed to be lovely, i am happy with the room i always have,

Room Tip: if you want a quiet room ask for one overlooking the pool,

We stayed her fo2r 2 weeks but we moved out as it was a dive workman working on our floor all day we found our agent "BROADWAY TRAVEL" no help.
No heating in public rooms area lights in public area's not turned on till after 7.00 pm. The food was very poor no choice this is tonights "TODAY'S SPECIAL IS" the place looks 1950 and as stated by others "CARMEN " was a help until she knew we were leaving.
The internet was free we hired a car to keep warm in the daytime
The meals were very poor and we met a lot of ex guests at the hotel we stayed at 2 weeks too long if you need a hotel look at any other a small fan heater was the sole heat in the room and no swimming pool.

Having recently returned from spending a month at the EuroClub Hotel - I felt that I should stick my twopenneth in. Yes, the hotel was a little on the cold side but hey! Malta experienced the worst winter they have had in over 25 years and just as most of us here in the UK do not have air conditioning, a lot of places over there do not have heating. We were in a family room and was provided with two more than adeqate heaters so we were snug in a rug!
The food was really good, anything that you wanted for breakfast i.e. scambled/poached eggs, grilled tomatoes, cereal etc. that was not on display, you only had to request and you were given it willingly. The same went for the evening meal....the soups were to die for! There was a "special" every evening along with a set menu. One evening I asked for breaded fish which they did not have and was offered a salmon fillet....it was delicious. My only problem with the food was that they tended to give me too much of it! In the month that we stayed there there were only two occasions that we ate out and that was when we went to the Carnival in Valletta.
The staff could not do enough for you and I take this opportunity to thank them all for the kindness, hard work and friendship that they showed us.
The only thing that spoilled our stay at the Euroclub was the moaning groaning people....remember folks that you get what you pay for....you want five star treatment - book a five star hotel!!
We wll have no hesitation of going back.

I have just got back from a two week stay at the EuroClub, worst hotel i have ever visited. The rooms were freezing and the fan heater they provided was useless. The food was awful. Eggs at breakfast were runny and the sausages were tasteless. Evening meal was no better. No proper menu, they wanted you to eat what they wanted you to eat. on my last day i was suffering from deli belly and on the loo most of the night only to find that the cold water tank had run dry and the toilets would not flush. Definatly not a hotel to recomend.
