We visited here whilst staying in bugibba, we caught the local bus (number 223) and it took around 15 minutes and cost 1.50euros for a day pass. you can use your city seeing to get there from bugibba but its a waste of money.
Beach was clean, not too crowded and was quiet. sunbeds, suncream, drinks food etc can all be purchased there and are reasonable. worth a visit for a sandy beach and a relaxing day

Hired beds from Radisson hotel, staff very nice and not trying to get you to buy, did have lunch and it was realy good, water lovely, a little stoney when getting in but once in, great. Hired a pedal boat and went out for an hour which was good fun.

One of the few sandy beaches in Malta so it does get extremely busy. The beach itself is clean and maintained daily and kept that way daily.
There is a great choice of eateries surrounding the beach to suit everyone.
Best to either drive there early or get a bus as it gets extremely busy and you'll struggle to get parked. If you arrive on a car late, expect a hike to the nearest available spot.
Varied water sports available, from diving to a trip in a speedboat and the good old pedalo!
Take a snorkel as around the rocky areas you will see plenty, keep a sharp lookout as you will see plenty octopus.
The apples eye is a great eatery overlooking the bay, in the cooler months the motor bikes turn up in large numbers here. From old classics to choppers and modern nitro street bikes.
Watching the sun go down from the cliff tops is a great way to end the day........
