“Warm Italian experience.”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We had a great time with Laura who showed us her own vinyard and drove us around to show and taste (!) others vinyards as well. She told and explained us a lot on the region, the history and the Amarone. Here suggestions for restaurant and B&B where very good and in this mode you get to meet the real Italian style and life. Can't wait to go back.

“Food and wine tasting”
Reviewed May 2, 2013 via mobile

Laura come and picked us up at the trainstation in Verona. She drive us home to her privat apartment on her families wineyard Brigaladara in Valpolicella district. On her kitchen she let us taste all the wine from their own farm with different kind of food. Laure is a Sommalier and have god experience of the combinations about food and wine. We learn a lot. Laura guided us to a lovely small village up in the hill and also around in Valpolicella before she drive us back to Verona. We had a wonderfuel day and have greate memories. We bought a big botle good wine from Brigaldara farm, so about 5 years we can drink it and think about the greatefuel day we had! :-) Thank you Laura, you are wonderfuel ! Ciao.

“Wonderful tour of Valpolicella and Brigaldara!”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

I had a half day private tour with valpolicellatours.com to see the Valpolicella wine district.

My host, Laura Cesari, corresponded was able to suggest an itinerary based on my interests. She picked my up at my accommodations in Verona. On the way to Valpolicella Laura brought me to some of the most stunning views of Verona and Valpolicella, all the while telling me about the history of the region!

Our wine tour was fabulous! Brigaldara was stunning, Laura even provided me with a wine 101 to make up for my lack of knowledge all things wine related!

Laura was a great tour guide and really made the experience one to want to do all over! I would definitely recommend valpolicellatours.com to anyone who is looking for a private tour of Valpolicella!

“Very Nice private winetour/tasting”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

We went for a really nice wine tour in the AMARONE land...

I was very lucky to find www.valpolicellatours.com on the internet, and there I got in contact with Laura Cesari, wich also is raised at the winery BRIGALDARA, wich has some very nice wines...

However. Laura made a proposal for 2 full days wine tasting , as that was what we wanted, (we enjoy red wine a lot). We where 5 married couples, and Laura fixed everything from picking us up at the airport in Bergamo, driving us to Verona and to the hotel. Then 2 days wine tasting in the area by bus, and then transport to Venice for going home..

Laura as person, the knowledge to wine, and the area, and as a person to plan, I just recommend on the strongest. There was not a single thing that went wrong, or that we did not enjoy, it was the perfect first time winetour for us all..

Laura brought us to TOMMASI, our choice, our preferred AMARONE wine at that time. A very fine start, with a small lunch at the premises. Then we visited BRIGALDARA (as it was saturday, Laura opened the estate for us) this was a very nice surprise. The estate was very beautiful, really one of the finest we saw., and then a new surprise. The wines..... Very, very good. I think all of us found a new preferred wine at that time. Some of us liked the AMARONE CLASSICO, and some of us, like me preferred the AMARONE CASE VECIE, and another again preferred the RIPASSO, we all had found a new preferred brand of red wine, TOMMASI are still very, very good, but this was really a bit better.....

We visited also another winery, so then we had been at a big brand, a medium brand and now a small brand which was very nice to see the difference, a good experience for us..

The day ended back in VERONA at 19.00 after an exiting day..

After a relaxing sunday with some shopping in VERONA, Monday came with a visit in the BARDOLINO district, and the GARDA lakeside.. Again very nice, and the POGGI estate we visitied first was very, very nice, The experience with the BARDOLINO wine was that it was very much lighter than the Valpolicella wines, and it was very different...

We still prefer the AMARONE and RIPASSO...

Then a huge, huge lunch at the lakeside, Laura had fixed this, and it was another very fine experience for us... A huge italian lunch with a very nice atmosphere and lovely views out on the lakeside.

Then a visit at the Olive museum incl. tasting of olive oil..

And at last a visit at a big brand of Bardolino ZENI..

Overall we anjoyed the trip so much. Verona as a nice city, the tour was exceptional, especially because of Laura, so we want to recommend this as much as we can, because we had such a nice time...

At last we thank Laura once again for giving us this very nice experience...

All the best from the Norwegians....

“Touring the Valpolicella area”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

We spent a very enjoyable day with Laura touring the Lake Garda region and Valpolicella. Laura picked us up from our apartment and we spent the morning in the Lake Garda area walking through several villages. Laura has excellent knowledge of the area, culture, and wines. Her language skills are very good. We toured a winery with a museum, visited a church where she was married, and ended the day at her family winery. She explained the various phases of wine production and we ended the day in her kitchen tasting excellent wine with local cheese and bread.

We highly recommend Valpolicella Tours!
