Review of Monterosa Ski

We went to Monterosa for the first time this year. We have visited a few ski resorts - Port de Soleil, Kitzbuhel, Mayerhofen, Saalbach, Alpe de Huez etc. Most other places are larger with more lifts and slopes, but there are few with the variety of slopes and lengths of the runs as Monterosa. Also, there are less crowds and lines in the slopes in Monterosa.

Another great experience is the possibility of Off Piste and Freeride you have, both spectacular ride from the more than 3200 meter station only for off piste, or side by side with the prepared slopes in the ski area itself.

Go there if you want
1. Off piste
2. Less crowds and long lines
3. Beautiful scenery
4. Quite villages

We keep going back for superb skiing, company and realistic prices. Two full seasons there, plus many skiing holidays and we can't get enough of it. Off piste is awesome and for the bulk of the season the pistes are extremely quiet. Pistes are meticulously groomed and the uplift very efficient, there being only one bottle neck at peak season.

We felt like we had our own personal ski resort for most of the days we were there. Both on and off piste skiing was ample and available for all ski levels.

Very nice slopes and almost no people there. The off-piste is off course great but you need a helicopter to find the untouched snow. The lifts are all very nice and you can find restaurants everywhere in the slopes.
