We did not want to leave the park since we had a second cave tour and only 2 hours in between, so we went to the hotel restaurant. I guess this is the coffee shop at least that is what is pictured above.
We were surprised to find many selections for vegetarians, not just salads, but veggie burger, grilled cheese served with fries which is what we had. They also had fish and chips, avocado with tuna on top, and a couple of other choices.
We sat at the counter and yes the service was a bit slow only because the server had a full counter and she was really working her but off. The place is small but we noticed that they did get people out fairly quickly. Our meal probably took about 45 min from sit down to get up. Giving us time to go and spend time in the museum.
Meals were reasonably priced.

Ate here twice on our trip. Dinner was good, but with slow service (I think they were understaffed). Dinner prices a little high. Chopped steak and Country Fried steak both yummy.
Breakfast was EXCELLENT. Not for the pretentious foodies out there, but good, solid food. Country ham (!) and eggs. For you city folk and Yankees, Country Ham -its official name- is tougher, more savory, and a LOT saltier than "normal" ham. The biscuits were great, but small. A second helping of them was readily available and cheap. Cinnamon Roll was large and had icing practically applied with a trowel. Quite tasty and guaranteed to blow your diet. Breakfast prices quite reasonable.

I had the Mammoth Burger, it was delicious. My wife had the Cod Sandwich, and she says the same...delicious. Good food after a long trek in the cave.

Expensive and not fast. Servers not especially friendly. Long lines to get in. We got in after our tour, before the lines moved too slowly. So we were super hungry and the food tasted good by that time. Coleslaw was good. It was expensive for burgers.

We ate here after our cave tour (which was awesome!) First, we waited in line for some time before being acknowledged and by that time, there were about ten couples waiting for tables, with plenty of empty ones available. The hostess greeted us with no smile and a "how many?" There are lots of nice photos and information plaques hanging on the walls. The waitress was nice and friendly enough but the food was horrible. I ordered the pineapple mango salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was overly peppered and rubbery. The pineapple mango salsa was large chunks of gooey pineapple and mango in an "I don't know what it is" sauce, very unlike the finely chopped fresh salsas that I prepare at home. My daughter had a fried fish sandwich that she said was "okay." I did experience much southern hospitality in the area, but not at this place!
