Great lunch with a great price and the most amazing Blue berry cobbler! All this and it is right next to the original opening of Mammoth Cave. The deserts do rotate daily but be sure to leave room!

Stopped here while it was raining and had lunch, Average food and service, but long line. Fat mans misery was a good sandwich but nowhere big enough. Giant mugs of coffee though :D

The beautiful national park setting and retro 1950s architecture should have provided a perfect backdrop for a "throwback" breakfast. Dirty tablecloth, rubber eggs, cold potatoes ruined the experience.

Convenient place to eat with a decent menu selection. The food was ok for the price. Typical coffee shop type food.

Literally steps away from the Mammoth Cave entrance and the NPS building, the Crystal Lake Coffee Shop was the freshest and healthiest meal we ate in KY. Located inside the Mammoth Cave hotel, it's a perfect place to grab lunch in between cave tours. (And trust me, you will want to take more than one tour!) I had a spinach wrap with hummus and fresh vegetables. My husband had a very nice looking, not greasy club sandwich. The kids meals were pretty standard, but a lot less greasy than straight fast food. The wait staff was very nice. They let us sit there after our meal so the kids could fill out their junior park ranger books.(which are free and they can earn a park ranger pin) The food choices in Cave City are pretty slim, as expected. It was a very easy, convenient, and good place to eat right at the cave.
