“Huge but not impersonal”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Went with 7 others and all our dinners were excellent along with the service and house wine. It is a very large restaurant but has different rooms and nice outdoor seating. The prices are very reasonable..and a big selection of all kinds of pizza from the wood oven.

“Very well run eating house, honest prices and good food.”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

This was not my first visit and I hope it will not be my last. Parking is excellent and the place well lit and welcoming. Large groups are welcome as the structure is very large indeed so great for a group of friends. The menu is very impressive and wide ranging including an extensive veggie selection as well as pasta, rice, fish, meat as well as pizza so something for everybody. Wines and beers are also well covered. Service is fast and friendly, food is very good indeed and the bill was less than 20 Euro per head. Excellent!!!!

“Ristorante da Favola.”
Reviewed April 22, 2012

Impressed by its size but mostly its natural art to offer clients the best Italian Perugian Food. Marco the owner makes you feel at home as soon you enter the restaurant, with some appetizers that you cannot resist to say no.The restaurant has 5 kitchen areas, Wooden fire meat and steak area, Wooden pizza oven, The sweets sections and la chef kitchen area, and final the nicely prepared delicatessen light buffet prepared by Marco. Food is alla meraviglia and reasonable too.
You have to try it.

“Our Favourite!”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

I have lost count of the number of times we have eaten here over the last five years! We try others but always come back. It's like going to visit friends for dinner. Always welcoming. Fantastic atmosphere. Warm n cosy in the winter, light and airy and open to the garden in the summer. Relaxed. Extensive menu. Lovely, lovely staff and quality of food good. Largely Italian clientele probably because touristy type foreigners prefer your typically small trattoria restaurant in a village or town. Battibecco is not that! As in most Italian restaurants the price varies significantly depending on whether you just have a pizza or pasta or go for the more expensive meat or fish main course. Dont go here if you have noisy, badly behaved children who can't sit still - the Italian children all know how to behave in restaurants ! Or if you are used to typically English type Italian food. This is a place for those who love Italy and want to be part of real Italian life, and are prepared to make the effort.
