Stayed here on New Year's Eve as it was convenient for the centre of Montaione, paying €70 per room/per night.
Small private parking area, and located near the centre of town and also conveniently near a supermarket.
Nice reception area, but you need to be able to navigate stairs to get to the rooms.
Entrance pleasant, and a good supply of big art books available in the small downstairs lounge.
Rooms were adequate, although the furnitire and decor wasn't inspiring.
Room clean, but small details need attention, like dirty lampshades and a very noisy concertina type door to the bathroom which probably woke the entire hotel when used.
The pillows were hard, not comfortable at all.
Shower head needed de-calcifying, as water sprayed everywhere, and there were two hairdriers, because the wall-mounted one wasn't working. Ample clean towels.
Heating efficient (and air con in the summer I presume). TV in room very small.
Worst part: No tea or coffee-making facilities in-room whatsoever. I had brought my own kettle and supplies as I know that Italy isn't often wise to the needs for tea/coffee-making in rooms. They ought to have sussed it by now though, seriously.
It has three stars on its sign (two stars would be more realistic) and charged €70 per room, which we all thought was excessive for the overall experience.
