We recently spent four days in this stunning property, conveniently located near several charming towns in Tuscany, including Pienza, Montalcino, and Montepulciano. The property is a beautifully-restored, centuries-old building which is bright, airy, and adorned with one of the owner's own artwork. There is a saltwater pool which we enjoyed in the mornings before breakfast and also late at night. The property also offers a separate building with a kitchen and fridge for the exclusive use of guests, and the owners offer complimentary bottled Italian beer, bottled water, and boxed red wine. We chose the room with the bathtub by the window, and a smaller room for our teenaged son. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of the countryside from every window. Satellite television was available with all-UK channels. Breakfast was served at a private table for each guest room, and consisted of fresh-baked muffins, a fresh fruit cocktail, home-made jams, juice, and coffee drinks. The owners thoughtfully provide a guide with recommendations for nearby towns, including suggested sights, restaurants, and vineyards, and even provide a Tom-Tom GPS with preprogrammed parking spots, shops, and restaurants. Amanda was very friendly and eager to assist with suggestions and restaurant recommendations. We particularly enjoyed Il Fortacino restaurant, so much so that we ate there twice. A particular plus of this property is its easy access, which does not require the kind of the nerve-racking squeezing into tight spaces one often finds in Italy. We were very impressed with the beautiful design, friendly service, and thoughtful touches at Siena House, and will certainly return in the future.

Room Tip: Choose the room with the tub to end the day with a romantic touch.

This review comes almost 3 months late but we must write about such a lovely stay we had at Siena House (although it'll be a nice little secret to have). We stayed at this B&B on 19 to 21 April 2013 during our honeymoon to Italy and France. We decided to pay a little more than our usual average stay and it was well worth the money. Here are just some of the wonderful things we delighted in during our stay there:
1. Helpful hosts Malvin and Amanda had all the best attractions and food places including the directions all neatly printed.
2. The place was well maintained, bright and modern - transformed from an old sprawling estate.
3. Romance and freshness sets in as we took in the surroundings - a wonderful relaxing retreat at the end of a long day of travel.
4. As honeymooners we received the gracious gift of a room upgrade from Perugia to Cortona! :) The room was beautiful!!! (Note: The rooms have attached bathrooms which were what we wanted.)
5. Each couple received a welcome sparkly with chips whilst seated on an allocated side of the house and admiring the sunset view. Breath-taking and totally chillax.
6. Breakfast was mostly home-made and the aroma made us all ready to dig in to the delicious spread, with a view to boot. A nice cozy feel seeing the hosts preparing breakfast and sharing with us their joy in growing their vegetables and making home-made jam etc.
7. Malvin was so kind in giving us a little bottle of home-made honey-cinnamon as a farewell gift.
8. Rolling hills and view, birds cooing, a snuggly cat... food for the eyes and medicine for a couple stressed from work and wedding prep looking to wind down and enjoy the start of their journey together.
9. We were able to venture to some villages on day trips, some of which were quaint and lovely. We got lost on one of our adventures and discovered breath-taking views which our cameras could not fully capture.

We would definitely love to visit Siena House again if we ever get to visit Tuscany. The region and B&B tops as one of the best in our list. :) Thanks Malvin and Amanda, you and your daughter have made our stay memorable.

Everything other reviewers have said and more. Consistent quality and care for guests every need. Stylish rooms, killer views, gourmet food, great pool and fun people. Amanda and Malvin go the extra mile ...GPS loaded with favourite locations, restaurants and most importantly how to get Home from anywhere! Links with local caterers for picnic baskets, local winemakers for tastings, great holiday library of books and DVDs and if you really must english speaking TV in your room. Really felt that I was living the highlife. Recommend highly.

My now husband and I returned to Sienna House for our honeymoon. We were not disappointed. It was still heaven on earth to us. Relaxing, amazing views, fabulous hosts! I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed longer this time and got to enjoy the salt water pool. We will be returning again and again as I can't get enough of this place.

Room Tip: Catona has a bath in the room for those extra special trips for perhaps a honeymoon.

I can only repeat the positive reviews. Beautiful bright house with a great welcoming atmosphere, mainly due to the positive attitude of Amanda and Malvin, also their daughter Scarlett. We stayed here for 5 nights in May. Although it was quite cold and rainy and we could not use the pool, the house was always great to come "home" to after a day of sightseeing. Malvin would always be ready for a small chat or put on a cozy fire. The location is perfect for sightseeing around Tuscany. The very best service of all was the preset GPS you could borrow with all the sights, parking, restaurants, shopping, etc. That made everything supereasy!
Our room was spacious, bright and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread and pastries every morning. I don´t think I slept better anywhere else...really!
