On a recent holiday in Sicily we stayed near Himera and dined at Baglio Himera several times. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor section and we opted for the outdoor area on all of our visits. Even in the height of summer, this was very comfortable. The food is very good and the portions are good sized. They have a wood fired oven and make very tasty pizzas. We tried a variety of their pasta dishes and all were very good. the starter of fried taleggio cheese with honey was a hit as was the Bocca Sicilia. Pricing is very reasonable and service was also good and helpful. Be warned that if you go on Saturday night in the summer that you might have a long wait for a table if you have not reserved.
