We went to Rosie Connolly's Thursday for our weekly night out. The reuben sandwich was wonderful and the homemade french fries were excellent. The "Brithish Invasion" music added to the atmosphere of the place. Overall, a good experience that I would recommend to friends and would return on our own.

Love to stop in here for a cold pint when we are in town. Cozy location and great staff. The location can't be beat either.

My family and I were originally in the area to try out Halligens bar and grill, but decided to try out this little pub on the corner.
We were so hungry but decided to just get a drink, only later to realize they served food too. The french fries were delicious, along with the chicken tenders! My parents ordered the fried fish and steak sandwich.
It was all delicious.
Although our waiter took a little long to come around to our table throughout the night, he was a pleasant man. We really enjoyed the "irish environment".
The décor, the music, the staff...It was just a local restaurant that was home to others that we loved.

Located on 17th St. at the Farmers Market. How great is it to go to an Irish bar and find out it's.....really an Irish bar? This one is. Tommy is from Liverpool and a bartending legend. There is a friendly laid back atmosphere, friendly customers, and a great selection of beers on tap and of course....Irish whiskey.
ps: Ask Tommy to play some Beatles music. Is this place cool? yea, yea, yea!

Located in Shockoe Bottom just next to the Main Street Station and the City Market, Rosie Connolly's Pub is a great place to cool your heels and enjoy a pint. They have a nice selection of tap beer. Sit up at the bar, with the many regulars, and engage in lively conversation while the owner pours you a cold one. Take note of the shamrock he forms in foam of your Guinness Stout. We've been back several times since finding this gem of pub. Oh...did I mention they have food? You can eat in the bar area or dine in the cozy tavern-like dining area. Complete with warm stained wood and memorabilia from the homeland. Pull up a bar stool and tell them "Skip sent ya".
