Montana Gold is essentially a very good bakery, offering delicious breads, rolls, muffins, etc, - with the bonus of free slices of whatever breads recently emerged from the oven. But I recently tried one of their made-to-order sandwiches and - am I too old to say OMG??? Okay, there's a limited selection of breads, meats and cheeses available - but the ingredients are high-quality and fresh, the sandwiches are handmade, and they are THICK and ever-so-tasty. Also cheap. For around six bucks, you can get a REAL sandwich - enough for two lunches. And while you wait, you can slap some honey-butter on a slab of free sample bread and enjoy the smells and bustle of a working bakery. What's not to love?
