Since the entrees and sides have been well reviewed, and yes, the sides are outstanding, I will review the brunch. We popped in with a group of 7, which they found a bit difficult to seat. We eventually settled at the bar, and all had a mix of just about everything they offered. A few of us are foodies, and ordered multiple entrees just to try. Everything ordered went from very good-excellent.

If you are in the area late, pop in just to sample the very extensive whiskey menu and some of the best desserts in town.

The menu at Comfort has the great food you love in the South. Main entrees with a great selection of sides. Between us, we had the pork tenderloin, pepper crusted tuna, braised goat, and for sides, Mac n cheese, roasted beets, fried okra, greens, cheddar grits, broccoli, and green beans. It was all great. Three of us declared the goat the best thing at the table, and the fourth wouldn't touch it. For dessert, the banana pudding was to die for, like a creme brullee with carmelized bananas on top. Four spoons, and we were delighted.

the sides are served family style for large parties...The entrees left a bit to be desired, but the sides...fried okra, mac & cheese, were the best part of the meal. Service could be a bit slow and awkward at times...probably fine for a smaller group...no reservations for large parties which makes it difficult when you arrive and they have to set up the tables...waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Succinct food menu, crazy long whiskey (Bourbon and rye) menu. The kitchen showed a nice hand in grilling pork loin and chop (one xtra thick). Best cheese grits I've ever had. One note: food is southern-style salty. Cornbread disappointing, and only 2 dessert options tonight (when I was hoping for pecan pie). But the whiskey menu: OMG! Much better as a dessert option is to sip a fine Kentucky bourbon.
