Description: While Buz has been dishing real barbecue in Richmond since 1992, our first brick-and-mortar location on Boulevard opened in 1995. We've also had the honor and privilege of being featured on some of television's top food shows. We are thankful to our loyal fan base that keeps coming back year-after-year. We opened our Broad St. location in 2012 and we look forward to bringing the same barbecue tradition to the West End.

Top 10 Bar-B-Q places I've been. Little high on price, but good food. looks like a great place to go before or after ball game. The meat was very tender and moist with the right amount of sauce. Will be back again

Food was a little above average although the smoke was a bit over powering but it was ordered to go and served in a cardboard container. For a full rack of ribs, a small (1 person serving) of oily Mac and Cheese and a small order of Bourbon Apples was $38 before tip. Come on man.... They need to worry less about professing they beat Bobby Flay with the lame Flayslayer T-Shirts and worry more about reducing costs and providing a better product at a reasonable price. It appears the reputation went directly to the prices printed on the menu.

The newly redone location in the west end on broad street is a great place for great BBQ and a fine selections of sides. And of course they have sweet tea.

Many places profess the best BBQ - Buzz & Ned's is really good. Enjoyed the food though seating was cramped.

I liked the ambience and the staff is friendly and helpful. They had Blues music in the background(what else would you have for BBQ place IMHO) and the ceiling fan looks like something off a fast helicopter.
I had the chopped pork sandwiches with cole slaw on top and hush puppies and potatoe salad. The food was tasty, the pork had been perfectly smoked, the cole slaw and hush puppies good. The potato salad was average to me, others may love it ( I like a little more tang in mine). Why only four circles instead of five you ask. It was a combination of small things - the hush puppies had a slight after taste( although they were good and I ate them all), the potato salad was bland and I'm not a huge fan of Kansas City style sweet sauce BBQ.
