This is one of our four favorite restaurants in Richmond. We usually pass through every two months or so and try to get to at least one or two of them. This time it was Zeus. The service was excellent as usual and the menu and wine list continue to change often. Both are written on chalkboard. We selected salads to start and they were unique, fresh and flavorful. Our main course, however, did disappoint. The rockfish seemed a bit under done and we couldn't tell if the crab cakes had a filler or that the crab meat was so finely chopped (as in a food processor) that it affected the texture. When the maque choux upon which they were placed was more satisfying, there could be a problem. The meal, overall, was very good but we know we have had better at Zeus. We did note that the kitchen staff has changed since our last visit. Hopefully, when we return they will have returned to providing an excellent meal.

Excellent spot for a date or to stop by and get some brunch or dinner with friends. Very intimate setting. Great staff and the chalkboard menu hits the spot. Best key lime pie i ever had!

In the past year I have been to Zeus on several occaisions. Whether it is for Easter brunch with the family, dinner out with friends or hosting vendors from work, the food and service have been outstanding.

The atmosphere is great with two ding rooms and chalkboard menus. The wine list is excellent and the food superb. I recommend the fried oysters, argyle salad, meatloaf and veal meatballs. Sunday brunch is also fantastic.

Zeus is my favorite fan area restaurant. If you are in town for a day or a long-time resident, this is a great restaurant.

Everything about this place is superb. The atmosphere is intimate and the food is delicious. The fried oysters are the best around. We have dined at Zeus many times and have recommended it to many people with everyone raving about the experience. If you are looking for great food and atmosphere, you must try Zeus gallery.
