“Upgraded a lot!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We've tried this place a lot. As a family, friends, with workers, whatever the case might be, we've been here several times. It used to be terrible back in the days but the latest visit has me reviewing again. It has gotten a whole lot better. In fact, I felt the pizza tasted better and could tell the ingredients were fresh! Still didn't like the thick crust but I suppose I will have to settle on it. Great atmosphere and the kids love it. Can't complain!

“Excellent atmosphere”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

We had awesome service and awesome atmosphere at the restaurant.

Sad to say the gluten free pizza was less than average. Not much cheese or pepperoni. :(

Seeing the trains outside was awesome and the waitress was very good.

“Amazing pizza”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

As a Brit, I thoroughly enjoyed this true American experience! The pizza was incredible, the portions were big and our waitress was loads of fun. The trains running overhead also added to the evening!

“The best pizza ever”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

I'm from New York and the pizza here is the example everyone tries to match. But Bottoms Up Pizza is even better that New York. This is a deep dish pizza. I had the white sauce with pepperoni slice -- which, by the way is the size of a personal pizza! The crust was crispy, the sauce was delish, the pepperoni was...well, pepperoni. The garlic dripped off it. It was almost orgasmic. I wish I lived closer to Richmond, Virginia! The restaurant itself isn't something to brag about -- wooden tables and chairs, open industrial ceilings. But the service was reasonable, the prices good, and the pizza was perfect.

“Pricey and Great Sometimes Not Always Easy to Swallow When Associated with Pizza”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

Everyone is right! This is probably some of the best pizza in Richmond. When we are downtown, this is usually high on the list to go to with the teenagers. Great pizza - all fresh ingredients. However, it is not a cheap outing when you go here.
