I would not spend my time in looking in to the antique displays which are meant just for childrens education. However, if you are in the city and have an hour or so for your next flight, do check out the imax studio located in the museum and they have an awesome setup there. First, you would not see a giant screen like this elsewhere. Also, the 30 min short film that they display is mind blowing. Definitely worth for the money and the time you spend. Otherwise, museum is meant to be purely for educational purpose if you have a pen and paper for the notes. Not fun for adults !!

We brought our 4 grandchildren aged 2 through 10 and each had a wonderful time. All of the exhibits were interactive and each child had their favorite activity. The IMAX film is a must see and extremely informative. From 10 in the morning until about 4:30, the time flew by and they all learned a lot of new facts.

I was not at the museum for an exhibit but yet for a business dinner. The food was fantastic and the servers were considerate of special dietary needs and preferences. Definitely a great venue for a party.

A good place to go with kids. Maybe because of spring break, it was free. A big and good looking building, a big areas for different subjects. Shop for Science is also a potantial place for spending money if you want to buy gift or science toys for your kids.
