Likes: This exhibit covered favorite movies and the costumes of the main stars. Several rooms, each with costumes and their construction explained very well in story boards and short videos.
Dislikes: Slow-moving tourists...my daughter is a "pro" however, and instead of staying in line, she darted to the middle of the rooms to look for less crowded areas, then on to the next less-crowded area.

We will go back again on my next visit. :-)

I live in richmond and going to this museum is a wonderful quiet Saturday. Recently it was renovated and it has an older wing and a new wing which helps to establish a feeling of history. The exhibits are updated often!

My daughter who is an artist came into town over Christmas vacay and I decided she
would love seeing our museum since she lives in Philadelphia and has a fabulous
art museum where she used to work. WE enjoyed seeing the Hollywood Fashions
exhibit but mostly enjoyed walking most of the museum and all the beautiful works of
art through out this beautiful place; I LOVE that they just purchased one of Chihuly's
pieces to keep out the side by the café and will enclose here a photo. LOVE our art
museum and my Tifanee enjoyed seeing all the works of Tiffany!!

This is a highly unexpected great museum and FREE (leave a donation please). Unbelievable glass works from Tiffany and art from DesCartes and Chichuly in the outdoor pond to boot.

This is truly the best experience we have had in Southern VA and better in many ways than museums in DC.

Beautifully done museum. The new addition and parking enhance the experience. We went. to the Chichullly glass exhibit which was truly spectacular. Very nice gift shop as well.
