We thoroughly enjoyed the VMFA!!! From the gardens to the indoor displays, the art collections were outstanding!! Three floors of rooms that just continually circle around so you don't miss anything! The entire museum is free with the exception of what the current special display is!!! A small cafe with drinks and food, nice gift shop. Various programs and also membership benefits if you live in the area or visit frequently. Give yourself time!!!

What a great museum...and the exhibit was very entertaining and educational. Inspired me to learn more about the culture and history of India.

Great exhibits of Tiffany and other art glass and enjoyed the other decorative arts exhibits. Was disappointed that the Faberage eggs were not on display. New section of the building is very modern and lovely.

The museum has world class exhibits, a gorgeous garden, a reasonably priced cafe, and it's FREE! I am particularly fond of ancient civilization artifacts, and the VMFA has some outstanding items from Egypt, ancient Rome, China and Greece. But the collection is well designed, it's easy to get around, and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the art.
