Hotel was easy to find and parking was not an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and more than adequate. Fair amount of traffic in area but the room did not seem noisy and it did not disturb sleep. Breakfast was a little weak but adequate. Bagels, tiny muffins, breakfast sausage patties, eggs made from "liquid eggs in a milk carton" (do not know the appropriate name), waffles made from commercially prepared batter, two cold cereals, juice, and a few other items. Not like restaurant food but would be good for a family to save $$ on breakfast. Hotel is decent value. I recommend for travelers.

About the only thing I didn't like was there was no bath, only a shower. We paid five dollars for a upgrade to a room with two beds and the room still had plenty of room. The wifi was strong and steady and the room was clean and well set up. We were on the second floor but there was an elevator so it was no hardship

We arrived later at night and we were pleasantly suprised by hotel overall. Hotel was easy to find and parking lot was very big. Hotel staff was helpful. Room was okay, look kind of old, but it was spacious. Toilet was behind sliding door which was kind of wierd... Although there was interstate near by hotel was very quiet. Good for one night stand.

Needed to stay overnight on the way home from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. My husband and I found one of those Hotel Coupon Magazines and we were approaching Richmond VA. The magazine showed maybe 5 Hotel/Motels. I picked a Sleep Inn which showed $40.00 a night, We were weary because how good can a Hotel, Motel be for that price.
Well....................... Clean, neat, nice and comfortable beds and they even had a beautiful breakfast which was included in the price !!!!!!! From cereal to french toast to waffles, yogurts and even chocolate milk !!!!!
The front desk people were very accomodating and friendly. We would definitly reccomend this place.

We stayed in a Sleep Inn in Fayetteville, NC on our way to Florida and it was very nice so we stopped at this one on the way home. Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as nice. Apparently, it was recently renovated but they did a really lousy job. Whoever painted doesn't seem to have done anything to mask off surrounding areas. In the bathroom, for example, the green paint from the wall was also all over the shower frame, the baseboards and the floor. Wherever it dripped, it stayed. Nobody cleaned it up while they were working. The shower stall has the sloppiest caulking job I've ever seen. There were holes in the ceiling around each sprinkler head.

Furniture and bedding was all new, clean and comfortable so no issues there. The breakfast buffet was fine though they were out of coffee when I went to get a cup for my wife. I tracked down the front desk person who said it would be a few minutes until a new pot was ready. Really? They couldn't have one pot ready to go as soon as the one out there ran out?

Our room (103) was 2 doors from the exit at the end of the hall. The outside door, which is supposed to be accessible only with a room key, was busted and didn't lock at all which didn't make us feel particularly safe. The parking lot was filled with 10-15 DirectTV trucks which limited the available parking for guests.

Overall, pretty average. Not bad. Just not as good as other Sleep Inns and the touted renovation wasn't done very well which is a shame. The hotel could use a good thorough rehab by a crew that isn't rushing through the job and pays attention to detail.

Had stayed at our first Sleep Inn in Walterboro, SC on our way down to Florida. It was such a positive experience we decided to stay at another on our way home. This hotel looks like the rooms had been recently redecorated. Very nice decor and very comfortable beds. The elevator could have used a little cleaning (from construction dust) and my children questioned if we were safe riding in the elevator! (noisy & shaky)
Good variety of breakfast items..waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurt etc.
There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Felt safe, clean & comfortable room and a nice breakfast for the family. Would most definitely stay here again for the price (mid $60s with tax AAA rate).

Arrived just at sunset with no rez. We were tired from driving all day. Aside from the smell of fresh paint and other various refurbishing equipment and tools visible in the lobby and several other areas, the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Office/front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were made up and laid out well. We knew the alterations were for the better of the establishment and they looked very promising. Beds were surprisingly comfy but you may want to bring your own pillow (or two). Breakfast was well set out and fast for those who needed to get an early start. The only negative would be that the pocket door separating our room from the bathroom was off its track or otherwise not functioning well, so privacy for three people was somewhat wanting, if you get my drift. It opened and closed but not without some effort. I'm hoping that was part of the renovations. Overall, a good stay and we'd go back, even if only to check out the improvements.

Room Tip: Fresh paint smell did not extend into our individual room, so that was a plus.
