“Could be so good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013 via mobile

The sushi is very, very good but the experience is not. The place looks dirty tacky with loud tv all the time and the service is terrible. It's a shame because I love their rolls but t he place is really dumpy

“Improved Crowd, Same Good Sushi”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

The snaky hipsters and loud foo-foo, 20-something nibbly girls with their smart phones surgically attached to their hands have apparently moved on to graze and gaze elsewhere, at least on a Thursday night.

The sushi was good last time, but the service so-so. Now the service has improved, and the miso soup, sashimi, and sushi remain excellent. We split a platter and ordered up extra appetizers. All was done with style and, most importantly, freshness.

The sports on TV and the Hair-Band music from the 80s could take a dive. Put on something Japanese at least.

“Great Lunch Deal - but Skip the Tempura”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Stopped in for Sushi. The lunch special was a great deal - and was quite good. Little bowl of miso, little salad, and 3 rolls for $12.
Hot tea is $2.75, so that pushes the lunch special up a bit.
We also ordered some tempura, and the batter on the chicken was way too thick - and the chicken tasted funny... but the veggies were fine.
Service was really nice.

The sushi was fabulous, but the Hibachi was surprisingly good for a sushi place. The mix of veggies, rice and sauce was incredibly yummy!
