Visited in June,2005.Part of the museum is undergoing expansion, but it doesn't interfere with what you will see.Takes you on an interactive history of Virginia from pre-historic times to the present day. Colonial era was extremely informative as was the segment on the Civil War. There are some hands on activities throughout the tour. You can also take a quiz at the end of the tour to test your knowledge.
